The reason we love them so much is they are so versatile, use them as decor, handmade gifts, drink toppers, you name it.

Homemade gifts- gift in a glass jar, add to bath salts, dip in chocolate.

Festive cooking- use as a drink topper, decorate the pavlova.

GIVE THEM A TRY!

DEHYDRATED ORANGE SLICES

-firm oranges

-airtight container

NOTES

-you can use any type of citrus, our favorite is blood oranges as they have a red tinge that feels very festive

-be sure to store in an airtight container if you wish to eat them as they can soften and spoil with humidity

Dehydrator METHOD

1. Thinly slice oranges, the thinner they are the less time it will take for them to dehydrate.

2. Arrange on trays, set to fruit setting and turn on.

3. Depending on how thick your slices are it can take 3-7hrs, I set my timer and check every couple of hours.

4. Once they are done store them in an airtight jar and use when you like.

OVEN METHOD

1. Thinly slice oranges, the thinner they are the less time it will take for them to dehydrate.

2. Arrange on baking trays lined with baking paper, set oven to 100 Degrees Celsius.

3. Depending on how thick your slices are it can take 3-4hrs, I set my timer and check every hour.

4. Once they are done store them in an airtight jar and use when you like.

We use these all different ways like making festive decor with them, drink toppers and they are really delicious by themselves as a heathy snack.
